Issues we promote and advocate for:

VOTER & CIVIC AWARENESS AND ENGAGEMENT

a. Increase voter turnout among 18+ year olds in marginalized and underserved zip codes and high schools;
b. Promote civic and voter engagement through awareness of candidates, issues, and voting information; and
c. Host nonpartisan voter registration drives year-round.

EDUCATIONAL EQUITY
a. Close educational equity gaps to reduce violence and disrupt the school-to-jail pipeline by: providing
     mentoring, literacy, and after school tutoring program services to k-12 students;
b. Offer scholarships to high school graduates who predominantly reside in low-income zip codes; and
c. Distribute Back to School resources annually to underserved students.

REDUCING RECIDIVISM
a. Reducing recidivism among those individuals with a moderate to high probability of reoffending by:
     facilitating access to assistance with obtaining essential resources and services related to housing,
     employment, and mental health to help them reintegrate into society and avoid a return to the
     criminal justice system;
b. Referrals to other organizations that provide more specialized or intensive reentry services and offer more
     comprehensive, documented reentry services that partners with or supplement Community Huddle's
     'Renewing Minds Prison Outreach' program;
c. Bible study engagement with Rev. Marshall; and
d. Promote a culture of civic virtue.
